Chantecaille are one of my favourite high end makeup brands with an impressive display of luxe looking makeup and beauty products. They have stolen my heart especially with their lip products. Having tried lots, including their new Lip Chic lipsticks (see my swatches here) and Matte Lip Chic liquid lipsticks (see post here) I am in love with their formulas. The newest lip product to Chantecaille's collection are the Lip Sleeks. Housed in a pretty mirrored pen style packaging with the quirkiest design ever - you have to press the button at the bottom of the tube (pen) to load the colour into the tip.
The formula of the Lip Sleek is very smooth and creamy. It melts onto the lips providing lots of hydration and giving the lips a burst of colour. The rounded edges help to outline the lips, whilst coating them in the shade. It's a very comfortable lip product and I'm really enjoying the shade Calypso. This is a stunning bright pink that is very wearable during these summer months. It's also the perfect shade for a 'pick-me-up' kinda day and when you want a pop of colour in your #MOTD (makeup of the day). As it's a glossy finish, it doesn't last as long as some matte formulas. But, I don't mind because I prefer a glossy lip (always more hydrating), plus its quirky design makes touching it up more enjoyable.
