Charlotte Tilbury Brow Lift Rita

Doing my brows has become one of my favourite steps in doing my makeup which is surprising because for many years I didn't bother too much about them. I believed I had naturally good looking brows with a good shape and I didn't find the need to sculpt them. Now having gotten more and more into makeup and starting my beauty blog and YouTube channel (please subscribe here) I have come to realise that brows are extremely important in pulling together a whole makeup look. Looking back on many photos, I cringe at those where I didn't do my brows and how incomplete my makeup looked. Anyway, now that I take time to do my brows I have gotten better at filling them in and giving them more of a sculpted look. So doing my brows is a MUST-DO step in my everyday life!

Every couple of months I like to switch up my brow products just so I don't get bored of using the same thing all the time. I do this a lot with bronzers, foundations and mascara too and this keeps me excited about makeup overall. Lately I've been trying out the Charlotte Tilbury Brow Lift and I've been really loving it. This is a 3-in-1 tool that shapes, lifts and adds definition to your brows. It also comes complete with its very own highlighting powder tucked inside the pencil tube.

HOW TO GUIDE

Step 1 SHAPE: use the brush to comb through brow hairs and prep them for filling in.

Step 2 LIFT: Use the highlighter under the brow bone for an instant lift. I also like to use this as an inner corner highlight to make my eyes look more awake.

Step 3 SHADE: Use the triangular-shaped cream-pencil to fill in and define the brows to your desired shape.

This is a really quick and simple product to use and is great for when you are in a rush and don't have time. I get a nice fullness to my brows (I have the shade Rita) but they don't look over-done and are less clean-cut than my normal brow look. But by comparing this Charlotte Tilbury Brow Lift and its method to my current everyday brow routine I'm loving the change. Normally I use powder to fill in and shape my brows then I'll use a gel or wax to set them in place. This of-course takes a little longer to do, so I'm really enjoying how much quicker I can apply my brows and go! The only downside to this products (and its a really small downside though) is that you have to be quite firm with the pencil when applying the colour. I don't know; it could just to my pencil, but that's the only downside. Anyhow, overall it's a really lovely brow product and I love that my brows look natural but still full and very well put together.
