Chantecaille have added a few new shades to their Lip Chic range for Spring. I have one of the new shades 'Tuberose' and two others: 'Anais' and 'China Rose' from their existing range to share with you. I'm a lipstick mad-dy (if you couldn't tell already) and I usually prefer to wear lipsticks over liquid lipsticks. This is because, when I'm out and about I find them much easier and quicker to apply or touch up. My favourite shade to wear more often than not (basically all the time haha!) is a pink or brown-ish nude. I find these shades to be very versatile and go with many different makeup looks, outfits and occasions. So I was very excited to try these shades from Chantecaille because they are basically screaming my name!
Chantecaille's Lip Chic's are high shine lipsticks, specially formulated to make your lips fuller and more youthful. This I totally agree with because the formula is very lightweight and creamy which glides on so smooth. It doesn't emphasise any lines or texture on my lips and as you can see from my snaps above, my lips look plumped and juicy with a high shine glossy finish. All shades are lovely and very comfortable to wear however, there are some slight differences between the newly added Lip Chic's (Tuberose) and the existing (Anais & China Rose) lipsticks. The new shades have a slight vanilla scent to them and a tiny bit more colour pay-off in one stroke. The new ones are also less frosty gloss and more opaque gloss instead. It's nothing major because they all still have that super glossy, non-sticky finish with plumping effects.
WEAR TIME! These last very well - 4 hours without touch up! However, when eating or drinking (unless through a straw, lol) they don't last as long. This is normally the case with any creamy or glossy finish lipsticks. So overall these are really beautiful lipsticks. I like that they're super glossy without the stickiness and I LOVE the plumping effect they give to my lips!
