I've teamed up with HQhair.com to bring you this beautiful soft and feminine makeup look that is perfect for this spring. Now, as we are just approaching the sunnier (haha!) months, achieving a golden sunkissed tan is merely impossible in the UK, so with a little help of this beautifully designed 'beached matte bronzer' by Laura Geller, I can achieve a natural sunless tan without the expense of a holiday. I like to apply this bronzer in places where the sun would naturally hit my face: outer corners of forehead, cheeks and nose. This really warms up my complexion and gives me a natural sunkissed glow. The formula of this Laura Geller 'beach matte' bronzer is very lightweight and glides beautifully over my face. Also, with its matte finish it leaves me looking flawless all day.
During the spring months I like to switch up my lip shade and go for something a little brighter, but I've put that on hold just a while longer because when I saw Illamasqua came out with new Anti Matter lipsticks I just had to get my hands on one to give it a go. So, you must know by now how much I love a nude lip (it is such a versatile option that goes with mostly every look and suitable for any occasion) so I decided to go for the nuder shade in the new range. I know choosing a lip colour can be quite difficult then you see a bunch of shiny new lip shades staring at you and you just want to grab them all. So what I like to do is pick out the nude or pink shade in the range and give that a go first because if I love the formula I'll probably get the most use out of it long-term. This Illamasqua lipstick is in the shade 'Bang' and has a semi-matte finish which is smooth to the touch. It glides beautifully across my lips and feels comfortable; almost like a creamy satin formula. It stays put for a long time with really amazing pigmentation.
Okay, I've been looking forward to trying out a new concealer that is slightly darker in shade than my other few. I wanted to give this EX1 Cosmetics Delete Anti-Blemish/Dark Circle one a go because I was very impressed with their foundation in the past. So this concealer is designed to perfect the appearance of your complexion by banishing your blemishes whilst helping to heal them. It also diminishes dark patches under the eyes. Now, I like to concentrate this concealer around my face rather than my under eye area to achieve a more flawless base. I apply this concealer onto my blemishes with my finger and use gentle presses to blend the creamy formula with my foundation. Doing this adds extra coverage to my base and evens out my complexion making me feel more flawless and perfected.
