Balm Voyage

the Balm Voyage palette (£30) has a very unique style of packaging which I think is very cleverly thought out and designed. As I'm sure you can tell, the name Balm (Bon) Voyage suggests it's all about foreign and colourful adventures. The palette comes in a travel guide style and refers to lots of beautiful cities and countries around the world. This palette is divided up into a few sections. There is 9 eye shadow shades, a highlighter and bronzer and two blush shades, as well as 2 lip shades.

I have still to try the lip shades in this palette but in regards to the eye shadow shades, there is a variety of warm and cool tones with a mix of mattes and shimmers to suit many occasions. The shades are highly pigmented and blend beautifully across the eyes. My favourite shades are: Benvenuto, Tervetuloa, Willkommen and Valkommen.

Now the highlighter shade is called Kuwakaribisha and is a beautiful pearlescent gold shade which looks incredible on the tops of the cheek bones as well as the inner corner of the eyes. The Huan Ying blush shade is my preferred out of the 2 because it has a peach underone which suits my skin tone perfectly. It gives a summer-y flush to the cheeks and compliments the highlighter (Kuwakaribisha) shade beautifully.

This palette is very different from other branded palettes but I really like it because it has many different shades for your eyes, lips, and cheeks. The Balm are also a cruelty free brand so it makes this palette even more perfect.
