LA Girl Glazed Lip Paints

Spring time is almost upon us and I'm looking forward to brightening up my makeup looks with pastel and vibrant colours. Before I go on I do have a lip swatches video here if you would prefer to watch me lip swatch.

I recently got these LA Girl Glazed Lip Paints (£4) which I showed in my recent haul video here. They do look very similar to the Too Faced Melted Liquid Lipsticks (here) but of-course they do have their differences, especially the price. There are around 18 in the LA Girl Glazed Lip Paint range with a wide variety of shades such as nude-ish pinks, coral to reds, and purple plum shades.

The packaging of these LA Girl Glazed Lip Paints is what drew me to them. I love the glossy tube with the gold lids and writing. This makes the lip tube really stand out. Something else that is great about these lip paints which is better than the Too Faced ones (in my opinion of-course) is that they can stand up easily by themselves without using a lipstick holder. This makes them so much better as decorative pieces and I like to display them in the background of my videos. Obviously a lip holder would keep them securely standing, but the little gold lids wouldn't be as stand-out-ish and pretty.

The 4 shades that I do have are very spring and summer appropriate. I love coral-y pink shades on my lips so I had to grab the shades 'Peony' and 'Flirt' (2 left hand-side paints) These are shades that I like to wear day to day in spring time that will naturally brighten and freshen up my face.

To really brighten up and make my face glow, the shades 'Babydoll' and 'Tease' do this! As spring is approaching and summer right after these are vibrant pink-y, purple shades that make everything pop, don't you think?!

All 4 lip shades I have from LA Girl have a super intense glossy finish. However, the shade Tease does have some shimmer pigments in it but equally as glossy as the others.

These are gorgeous lip paints in size, colours and formula but the down side to these lip paints are that they have a hard plastic applicator which makes it a lot more difficult to apply and get that precise, clean cut edge around the lips. However I do use a lip brush which moves the product great and I get a clean edge. I would also say that using a lip liner would make these lip shades really stand-out.

As for longevity, they don't last very long especially if you are eating or drinking but as they are super glossy and pigmented that it kind of ways up the cons to these little LA Girl Glazed Lip Paints.

Overall I really like these lip paints and I think they are a must-try for everyone especially because they have a wide variety of shades which all look so gorgeous!

What do you think of these LA Girl Glazed Lip Paints, let me know in the comments :)

Thank you so much for stopping by
