Get Into Shape

I mentioned in my last post that I'm kicking myself back into shape because I've been slacking these past few months. I want to slim down my arms, shoulders and sides/hips again because this is my more problem areas that gain weight quickly if I don't workout. When I changed up my lifestyle last year the main thing I cut down and consumed less were carbs and fatty foods, such as crisps, chocolate and (non diet) fizzy drinks. However, I don't completely deprive myself from these types of foods because I believe that, that will only make you crave them more and eventually fall off the wagon, per se. I do allow myself to have these types of foods and snacks on certain occasions, especially big events. I also now consume a lot more water, as I do believe this clears out my skin and makes it feels a lot fresher and smoother which is great because I do wear makeup on an every-other day basis.
Anyways, I will keep this brief...
I kicked off my workout routine on Monday where I started by doing a HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workout for 7 minutes followed by a 10 minute arm workout. I use an app called 'LUMOWELL', their 7 minute workout one. Search 'Lumowell' in the app store, they have loads of different routines to target specific body parts. After hitting it hard I had a good workout and felt great afterwards. The next morning I felt my shoulders and arm ache (only a little though) but I feel great! I also use to do a lot of yoga and pilates so I'm hoping to get back into this over the next few weeks. Anyway I am now on my 3rd day of my fitness regime, so I'll update you in a week or so to tell you of any changes in my body.
