Too Faced 'Born This Way' Foundation

To My Lovely
This Too Faced 'Born This Way' foundation has been on my high-end beauty to-try list for many years. It is definitely an investment foundation (£30) which should be used sparingly because it is so expensive. I tend to use this foundation for nights out or special occasions when I need my foundation to look flawless and last all night. The shade I'm using is 'sand' however, I do want to try other shades on the colour spectrum just slightly above and below 'sand'. I would really like to try shade 'warm beige' because I've seen many girls with my similar skin tone wearing it and it looks beautiful.

I like my foundations to be full coverage either in a matte or dewy finish and I always like it to feel lightweight on my skin. So this foundation is very close to perfect. I would say it lasts a minimum of 12 hours on my skin with perfect full coverage. The formula is more sweat-proof than some other foundations. It also withstands rubbing your nose and scratching your face etc.

I really like this foundation but as I said I do use it sparingly, I wouldn't recommend using it on a day to day basis if you're on a budget. But it is a great foundation to invest in for special occasions and events where you'll be taking lots of photos.

I would say this foundation is very similar to L'Oreal Infallible 24hr Matte (PRO Matte) which is a cheaper alternative (£8) and is full coverage (in my opinion) and lasts just as well. I am also in the shade 'sand' in that foundation.

    1. It is a really lovely foundation, but don't skint yourself for it because the Loreal Infallible matte is a great alternative :) xx

  2. Not sure if they'd have a shade pale enough for me in this line but I do really like the sound of this foundation.

    1. There are a few lighter shades in the range like ivory and vanilla which may be good for your skin tone. p.s I'm having a little scroll though your blog right now! :) xx
