So I think it's safe to say that I now love using powder for my brows. I use to only ever use brow styling gels but recently I've been really into experimenting with my brows but only to the extent were I keep them natural looking.
I have been trying out this new HI Impact Brows Perfector (£18.99) which can be doubled up as an eye shadow palette. There is a bunch of shades inside that will suit many different hair colours. First off I want to draw attention to the lovely glossy black casing. It is so sleek and glossy, making it very travel friendly and easy to keep clean.
Now on to the shades inside this HI Impact Brow Perfector. Even though it is travel friendly in size, there is a generous amount of powder to each shade. The powders are packed into squares which are perfect size for picking up with either a brow or eye shadow brush. I like that there is an array of shades to suit blondes, auburns, brunettes and very dark black hair. What is very unique about this brow perfector (apart from using it as an eyeshadow palette) is that it serves great purpose to girls who like to switch their hair colours occasionally. So instead of having to buy lots of different brow products to suit your current hair colour, you have the option of using the array of shades in this one palette.
The palette does come with a little eye brow brush which is very sweet however, I find it a little too soft and flexible for shaping my brows. I did use the brush in the above photos to show that I still got a really nice finish with it, it's just I prefer using my BH Cosmetics dual-ended brow brush.
As I mentioned earlier you can use this palette for eye shadows. All four shades inside the palette are powders so they can be applied to the eyes the same way normal eye shadows would. They blend very easily across the lids and with the mix of shades you can create a really nice finish. With the shades you can create a smokey eye because there is that perfect black 'Charcoal' shade that every eyeshadow palette should have. Also with the brown 'Mocha' shade you can create definition by applying this shade into your crease (serves well for a daytime look)
Create The Look
For the eye look above I used 'Spice' over my lids and crease. Then I placed 'Charcoal' to the outer corner for a slightly smokey finish.
