I've had these few makeup bits from New Look for a little while but I don't think I've shown them here on my blog before. I thought I should let you know about them before the winter is out since they are very winter appropriate shades.

PURE COLOUR EYESHADOW PENCIL - MINK

I've been using the Pure Colour eyeshadow pencil quite a lot recently for an everyday slightly smokey eye look without it being too full on. It is in the shade mink which is slightly greyish and ever so lightly brown tinted shade. It makes for a really nice everyday wearable, day or evening, eye look. I run the pencil all over my eyelid then blend out into my crease with some bronzer on my blending brush. Using a bronzing powder to blend out the shade gives a really lovely finish to the eye.

PURE COLOUR LIPSTICK - PLUM

This Pure Colour lipstick is a gorgeous deep red-y plum shade which is really perfect for evenings out, if you want to go for the whole vampy look this winter. I love wearing this lip shade with very minimal eyeshadow on my lids, so that the colour of the lipstick really pops and makes a statement. The lipstick is infused with vitamin E to moisturise and hydrate your lips. For me it wears very creamy on my lips and lasts for a good while.
