Milani Makeup

Afternoon Lovely,

Rainy day here in Glasgow :-( but I perk myself up with these beauty pieces.

I previous did a Haul video on my YouTube channel featuring these Milani cosmetics. You can check it out here.

I have been wanting to get my hands on Milani products for a long time and now I can finally tick 2 off my most wanted list. The main thing that drew me to Milani was it's gold, very rich packaging. It's the type of packaging you could expect to see on more high-end cosmetics.

The first thing I wanted from Milani was their baked blush in 'Luminoso', I have heard so many great reviews about it and I love baked blushes so much. I really like the marble effect and dome shape that they have, it gives you so much more value for money. Luminoso by Milani is very smooth and highly pigmented that a little goes a long way. I love that it smells of vanilla and gives my cheeks a little glow as well as colour. It comes with a little mirror underneath, perfect for on-the-go and has a brush too, however I don't typically like these types of brushes but it's still a nice touch to the product, don't you think?

The second and most desirable product I wanted from Milani was this eye shadow quad. How beautiful does it look? Being the eyeshadow geek that I am I had to try this as soon as I got it. Just look at those colours I couldn't resist! This is the fierce foil eyeshadow palette in the shade 'Milan' and to me it looks the nicest quad of the bunch. These are foil shadows so they are creamy and need to be applied carefully. I used this palette two days in a row but applied them differently each day. The first day I tried them using my fingers which turned out nice but not too shiny. However the second day I used the rubber spatula brush that comes with the palette and the shadows applied more smoothly and a lot shinier than using my finger. It is a lovely palette and if you like sparkly and shiny shadows then you should try this.

I will post an eye look using this quad soon. So keep an eye out for that!

  2. I've never heard of this brand but they look lovely! I don't like the brushes that come with blushes but they do come in handy if you go away and forget to take a brush. also the shade is gorgeous :D
