They're The Real Deal | Real Techniques Brushes

Afternoon Lovelies,
Sorry I have been MIA the past week, I've been very poorly and didn't want to spread my mood onto the blog.
I thought today I would share with you some of my favourite makeup brushes as I do a lot of makeup looks but always forget to let you know what makeup brushes I used to get a flawless application.
Real Techniques is a brand that has been around for sometime now and I was late to jump into the craze about their brushes. I eventually gave in and got their most popular and essential brushes. I was extremely surprised at how soft the bristles are and although I have cleaned them many times now they still remain super soft.
I will run through my favourite brushes from the range and what I use each brush for: (from left to right)
The brush on the outer left side isn't Real Techniques but it is very similar and looked good for the photos.
Real Techniques Contour Brush
I use this brush on a day to day basis as it carves out my cheek bones so well and it blends the powders perfectly to look very natural. This brush is available in the core collection set for £21.99.
Real Techniques Blush Brush £9.99
The blush brush is my favourite from the bunch as it's crazy soft when applying blush to my apples as that's where I have a few ''under surface'' spots. I also love that I only need to dab lightly into most blush pans as the brush picks up a generous amount.
Real Techniques Setting Brush £6.99
I've used the setting brush only a few times as I've just recently started setting my under eye concealer with translucent powder. I really need to test this out more but I love how soft it is for my under eye area which can be quite sensitive and with the brush being super soft then you're not going to poke your eye out with hard bristles.
Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush
I feel as though I'm using the word soft every two seconds but really they are and this base eye shadow brush is no different. This brush comes in their starter kit (£20.99) but I'm not sure if it available separately. I love its softness on my eye lid and it applies the shadows amazingly. I typically use this brush to apply my main 'pop' colour on my lid rather than a base shadow or transition shade.
I really love Real Techniques brushes and I highly recommend you to try them. I also love how beautiful their new bold metal brushes look so hopefully I will be able to try them out some time.
I hope you liked this rather lengthy post and if you've got this far, I love ya!
