John Frieda Luxurious Volume

 

With Summer now here I think having your hair in perfect condition is a must. I normally have very good conditioned hair regardless of the weather or season we're in but I do give it a helping hand by applying some products that boost its natural goodness. I received these new hair care products from John Frieda and I was super excited to try them out as they are from their Luxurious Volume range. Although I said I have fairly good conditioned hair, it lacks volume at times, so you can imagine how excited is was to try these newbies.

I did cut my hair just the day before I took these photos (I thinned it and styled the ends) so my hair does feel much healthier for it.

Pictured is the third time I've used these products since I received them and I'm genuinely impressed with the results. The shampoo and conditioner apply very smoothly on my wet hair and gives a lot of lather (which I love!!) I apply the In-shower treatment after the conditioner and leave for around 2-3 minutes before I rinse. It is very creamy and makes my wet hair smoother to brush through.

Once out the shower I apply the blow-dry lotion (pictured above) to the top/crown of my head as well as the under section of the upper half of my hair. The spray is like hairspray for wet hair but doesn't leave my hair sticky or crunchy once dry (fab!).

I really love how the products make my hair look and feel after blow-dry, it gives me great volume for my super long and thick hair. I love how soft and smooth my hair feels but the only downside to the Luxurious Volume range is the lack of shine and glossiness it gives. However as much as I love the range I still like to apply some of my L'OREAL extraordinary oil for glossiness. All in all these are the best hair care products I've tried that give me great volume and softness that lasts for days.
