The Aroma

 

Hello, hope you are all having a good week so far. I thought I would share with you my favourite candle by Yankee Candles at the moment.

I went to Dobbies the other day and last week too. They have lovely pieces there for Christmas presents or for unique gifts for friends and family. Here is there website link. I picked myself up a few pieces for my bedroom. I love small dainty and feminine things so I knew as soon as I saw these little glass candle holders with the bird (finch) and owl on them, that I needed them in my life. They are so sweet and add that little bit of warmth to the décor in my bedroom. I also picked up a few candles whilst I was there. I was drawn to the candle section in Dobbies because of the strong aroma that filled the store. I was so pleased that there was lots of Yankee Candles because I have had this strange craving for them lately. I spent around 1 hour sniffing all them, trying to get the right scents for me. I eventually got Snowflake Cookie, Lovely Kiku, Garden Sweet Pea, Soft Cotton, Morning Blossom and Soft Blanket. I bought them in the sampler and tart size as I wanted to test how they smelled whilst burning (I've had a few candles that smelt lovely when I pressed my nose against the wax but didn't give of that nice, nor strong aroma whilst burning) before I spent money on the large glass candle.

 

If you are looking for a great festive candle for this coming Christmas I recommend the Snowflake Cookie by Yankee Candle. It smells a bit over powering but when it is burning it is lovely. It gives a wintery but warm aroma of freshly baked cookies.
