First Impressions: Clinique dramatically different mositurising lotion+

I bought the august edition of Glamour and received a Clinique product. I have never tried any of their products before so this will be interesting and I'm quite excited about it because I've heard lots of good things about this brand but I've never brought myself around to buying anything from them because they're quite an expensive brand. I've had some issues with my face skin for quite some while now with spots lurking under the skin, I very rarely get above the surface spots/pimples. I mentioned in a previous post here about how much I love the L'Oreal skin perfection daily moisturising cream and I'm still loving it and will continue to use it (I have actually ordered another one) but seen as I received this Clinique dramatically different moisturiser lotion + as a freebie in Glamour mag I have to try it out, right? everyone gotta love a freebie!. Anyway, I applied the lotion to my face right before writing this post and so far it feels moisturising as there is hyaluronic acid and glycerine in it which are good for hydration. I don't feel any irritation, which is something I'm always sceptical about when purchasing skincare products. however it is slightly matte-y than the L'Oreal skin perfection moisturiser but overall my first impressions of the product is it's quite hydrating and my skin feels breathable if that makes sense, ha. I will keep you updated on how my skin feels over the next few days to see if it clears away any of my spots and if it may become my new moisturising lotion.
