A Matte Season ♻

I know in summer everyone is suppose to be loving the highly glossy bright nails but to be quite honest I've been loving a good old matte nail polish. Is that weird? I rediscovered Barry M's Matte nail paints when I browsed Superdrug for new cosmetics. I had known about them for quite some time now but I hadn't been too interested in them, I was more for the Hi-Shine Gelly ones in the spring which I absolutely adore but I thought the Matte ones looked good for cooling down the summer-vibe slightly. I bought 3 colours from the collection (there's only around 12 colours I believe). The colours I went for are nude-ish tones which are perfect for the days in the summer period where there's not so since weather - here in Scotland that is regularly, like today pouring of rain. Also these colours will be great for the approaching Autumn, before we move into the winter period where we'll be wearing the darker colours. So what I'm try to say is that these nail polish colours are perfect for the current and next few seasons.

(Caramel, Vanilla & Mocha)

I'd been wearing the caramel colour for a few days and it felt different from any other nail polish I'd worn before, they are sooo matte but nice. When I painted them I only put 1 coat on and the colour payoff was incredible. I only took the nail polish off so I could repaint them the other colours to show you how they look on the nails. Barry M suggest that these colours are warm wintery colours but I like them regardless of the season plus I think these colours would be great for those of you that don't like the bright colours - like my mum hehe! and also those of you that are more tanned to compliment your darker skin tone.

1. Vanilla 2. Caramel 3. Mocha
